The History of Sociology

From long ago people have been fascinated by the relationship between individuals and their society. Many themes of contemporary sociology research have also been studied by ancient philosophers who wish to depict an ideal society including social conflict, economics, social cohesion, power theory (Hannoum 2003).
In the 13th century, Chinese historian Ma Tuanlin first considered social mechanics as an important part of his earlier encyclopedia "General Studies of Literary Ruins" historical development. In the next century, the emergence of historians was thought to be the world's first sociologist, Tunisia's Ibn Khardun (1332-1406). He is interested in building the foundation of contemporary sociology and economics, including research on social conflict theory, comparison of nomadic life and sedentary life, explanation of political economy, and tribal social bonds I have written many topics of. Power capacity (Hannoum 2003)
In the 18th century, philosophers of the age of enlightenment proposed a general principle that can be used to explain social life. Thinkers such as John Rock, Voltaire, Emmanuelle Kant, Thomas Hobbs, and others have written a theme that leads to the social reform they want, to answer what they perceive as social illness. Mary Wollstonecraft (1759-1797) wrote an article about the social situation of women. Her work has been neglected for a long time by the male academic structure, but since the 1970's Wollstonecraft has been widely regarded as the first feminist thought.
Early in the 19th century, with the Industrial Revolution, improvements in liquidity and new forms of employment have undergone major changes. It is also an era of great social and political turmoil and the empire's rise has exposed many people - for the first time - to society and culture outside themselves. Millions of people moved to town, many of them abandoned traditional religious beliefs

The history of sociology is based on social and ideological changes in Western Europe and the United States, especially in pragmatism in America and America. In the emergence of American sociology, the contribution of classical sociological theorists such as Dulchem, Marx, Weber was studied with prominent scholars. In order to explain social life, students should be familiar with major sociological methods - functionalism, conflict theory, symbolic interactionism, exchange theory and feminist theory. Starting with the question "what makes society possible" students should understand how population formation, collective behavior, social organization, and accompanying changes are explained.
