Juvenile delinquency has become a big controversy dating back to the 19th century. The law is always written to suit society's best ideas to deal with illegal youth. The focus of this article is to tie the story of two conflicting Ottawa Valley teenagers with different sociological theories. First, briefly summarize this article and then associate it with theories of cultural conflict, control theory, distortion and label theory.
In sociology, there are three major theories of functionalism, conflict theory, and symbolic interaction theory. This article focuses on two theories, functionalism and conflict theory. The goal is to explain two of the three theoretical perspectives and apply it to the analysis of social stratification. Sociological Theory One of the theories of sociology is conflict theory. Conflict theory includes people's attention to wealth and class. Conflict theory believes that social change is beneficial and contrary to social order. In the story of women and her children, conflict theory plays an important role in this situation. The upstream police threatened the homeless woman. The theory of conflict is an ongoing struggle for people of the upper class to provide power to the people under India. The word Dalit means "broken people". Symbolic interaction theory focuses on how the language shapes all Indian identities and as a result it becomes a lower class like Dalit. An oppressive system arises from embedding symbols in individuals and collective minds. Therefore, the theory of symbolic interaction explains why Dalit's suppression continues even if the caste system is officially and legally abolished.
