What is resilience?

Briefly, resilience is the ability of a person to effectively deal with, adapt and recover from stress and adversity (Burton, Pakenham, Brown, 2010).
Everyone has varying degrees of psychological resilience. Also, when a recession occurs, some people are more responsive than others. Likewise, people can demonstrate their resilience in private life but in the organization environment they become less resilient and vice versa.
