After the assassination of the Austrian Grand Duke Franz Ferdinand in 1914, the First World War broke out in Europe. The continent fell into one of the most deadly wars of history, but America did not participate soon. At that time, the country had taken the policy of maintaining neutrality during the conflict. The United States finally entered into a war in 1917.
Pershing was appointed commander of the American Expeditionary Force (AEF), the army dispatched to Europe. In only 18 months the Permanent Pershing faced many challenges as the US stationed troops expanded from less than 130,000 men to 2 million. He has to make many decisions, such as how much the AEF should grow, how to arrange supplies, where AEF should fight in Europe, and when his troops are ready to fight. The American European allies are anxious for the end of the war and demand that the US military is ready to fight immediately after they arrive.
General Pershing also needs to decide whether to lend American soldiers to European allies. When the AEF arrived in Europe, the Allies were exhausted by the war of three years. Among US military officials and European allies, I asked Pershing to dispatch an army to replenish "fill the allied forces" vacancies, but he asked me to do so in order to establish their own powers I refused. He believes that this strategy will not work because the training methods used in the US and Europe are so different. He also believes that the united forces of the United States will further hurt German morale. In spite of the opposite, Pershing still decided his decision
AEF participated in many important fights such as Kantinie's battle, Mouss Argonne's attack, St. Michael's battle. On November 6, 1918, General Pershing terminated the German lineup in the sedan. He believes this is one of the most important achievements of AEF. On November 11, 1918, due to the joint efforts of AEF and European allies, the First World War ended. The general and his soldiers are called heroes

Approximately 2,000 citizens participate in these committees every year to evaluate the educational needs of the community and cooperate with extension workers to apply and evaluate programs. Local, state, and federal partnerships form the foundation for supporting these efforts.
