This week I directed two bike tours in Utrecht and its surroundings. Group of policymakers and politicians from Bavaria and Prattville - the other group from the University of Wisconsin. It makes sense to take these groups to the places I wrote in the article and to show how they all relate. Both groups are very different, but they are passionate as well. They are fully aware that the way we do things in this country is very different from how we work in our country. Because of the small number of cars, people often mention silence. It was a wonderful day when I was riding with American students, it was almost too hot. When we passed the beach of Houten, the young people soon learned that they were young people like themselves and their children. I hardly saw my parents. They also saw a lot of bicycles stopped near the beach. Freedom to ride a bicycle with a clear and intense field of vision. These kids and teenagers seemed to be heading to the beach without taking them together, and clearly had a good time. looking forward to
In Utrecht 's new Moreelsebrug, I explained to a student at the Prattville University in Wisconsin about the construction site around Utrecht station. (Picture Ray Lenaerts)
Freeride is the overall theme of Velo-City in 2017, beginning with Arnhem-Nijmegen in two weeks. Cycling offers great freedom, especially to children and young people, and they are not allowed to drive by themselves (under the age of 18 in the majority of the Netherlands and Europe). I had a lot of young people go to school a week ago. Even if this is an official 'no work' week, I will share this short film here.
In the lecture and speech at the Velo-City conference to be held in the future, free riding for children was also included. Speech - by chance one wife of one of my colleagues - is actually called "child freedom". Speaker Marieke Dubbelman lived with her family at Utrecht's new and largest Leidsche Rijn extension department. So that is all well blended together. Since children represent the future of bicycles, I think it is a very good thing to concentrate on children. If you let them ride a bicycle, they can keep good habits for the rest of their lives. Interestingly, this is some theme of Pecha Kucha's speech at the Velo-City event called "Tomorrow's Inspiration Cyclist". Finally, one of the short trips went to Beuningen elementary school near Nijmegen to see if the school was running.
Return to tour guide. A group of people in Bavaria lives in Utrecht but the team in Wisconsin is on Houten. I created a Google map that includes posts shown during the tour. So you can loop virtually
Cycling, freedom, health, and good mood are good concepts. Bicycles can evoke free and exciting images anywhere and are welcomed in all EU countries. Do you really support your movement policy to change your attitude and respect the urban environment? 3 Cycling is a wonderful way to transport in the majority of our country at a certain moment in history. Wherever there are roads and sidewalks, the bicycle is the king from north to south of Europe. So what are you doing now? Does anyone ride a bicycle other than the Netherlands and Denmark? In most cases, are people in a dry country with a mild climate away from the wind in the north? Cycling is part of a new mobile way.
