Muscle pain encephalomyelitis / chronic fatigue syndrome (ME / CFS) is a serious damage to frequent and serious chronic illness, quality of life. Although the underlying pathological mechanism is not fully understood, there is convincing evidence that at least some of the patients have ME / CFS have an autoimmune etiology. In this review, we describe the current autoimmune aspects of ME / CFS. Immune disorders have been shown phenotypes of T and B cells, often including ME / CFS, cytokine and spectral immunoglobulin levels, and reduced the cytotoxicity of natural killer cells. Recently, autoantibodies to various antigens have been identified in several groups individually in ME / CFS (including neurotransmitter receptors). Consistently, clinical trials from Norway showed that the use of rituximab in B cell depletion leads to approximately half the clinical benefit of ME / CFS patients. Also, in recent studies, evidence has been provided by ME / CFS to serious autoantibody mediated severe metabolic disorders and provided.
