Past art has given clues to past lives. By observing the symbol, color, material of art, you can understand the culture that produced it. For example, the above two portraits are symbolic and represent the ideal marriage virtue of the 15th century. The portrait of this young lady contains symbols of chastity (unicorn) and infertility (rabbit). These are very important for Renaissance women. After deciphering the symbol of these portraits, we can understand the importance of these people and how they want to be remembered.
You can also compare artworks offering different perspectives and provide any way to observe events, situations, and people. By analyzing past art works and seeing details of them, we can look back over time and experience different periods of time from ours.
Seeing the art from the past will help us as a human being. By observing what we did before, we will gather knowledge and inspiration to help you talk, feel and observe the world around you.

This article - written by a historian studying the history of Africa - introduces these issues. Its purpose is to encourage students to use their knowledge of African art in order to think about issues in African history.
For thousands of years, art was an important part of human experience. A true study of the evolution of art throughout history may take a lifetime, and this is the diversity and change of our creation. In retrospect, art historians have successfully organized most artists, trends and styles under the unique flag of the art movement. The 21st century has brought about a major change in our perception of art and communication. Our approach is more diverse and our observation is more diverse. This interdisciplinary research field is called Visual Culture. Visual culturists are in a state of almost constant analysis, such as politics, power, technology, science, ideology, religion, feminism, gender. remaining
This group explores the definition and boundaries of art history, studio art, and the various extensions that appeared in the past few decades. This includes material culture, vision and culture research, critical research, and academic research. As more and more organizations move to these types of compound courses, this course is designed to clarify goals and results of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The purpose of this conference is to describe the differences between these interdisciplinary courses and their colleagues in the studio's art and art history. What are the pros and cons of this type of course? Are they fully or better prepared for their career and / or postgraduate research in art, art history, museum research and art management? Is it wise to combine research on artwork with its history, or should we build two together like the old days?
