"Beowulf" and "Grendel" are very similar, but there are many differences. If you continue reading these two stories, you can see how many differences exist. In this poem he is explained as an evil monster born of two demons. In the movie, Grendel is actually a human being, it is known as a warrior and Dane's Troll.
