Looking at Mali in West Africa, this is two days after the fall semester of 2002. I am a freshmen of St. Cloud State University and a newcomer to the hostel. When I saw some people playing in the activity lounge, I was thinking of finding things to do. I went inside and introduced myself. This is the first time I met Kenny Ken, an international student from Mari in West Africa. We sat in a dormitory all year round, but when school was over I returned to Wisconsin and lost contact.

This is the story of Mari - Mali is the largest country in West Africa, one of the least visited countries. Mali is a poor landlocked country today, but Mali Empire is one of the biggest and wealthy countries in West Africa. Indeed, Mansa Musa, one of the rulers, is the wealthiest man in history. You must visit the legendary city Timbuktu. That legendary wealth attracts Europeans to make it colonize in Africa. Timbuktu's Jenne Grand Mosque is the largest mud brick building in the world. Let's hike the magnificent Bandiagara cliff of the magnificent Dogon country and witness the unique culture and lifestyle of the locals who have preserved their culture for centuries. Wildlife, rock art and the ancient tomb of Baule National Park are a must-see for any traveler.

In West Africa, the architecture of the ancient Mali empire is in Timbuktu and Jayne. Despite the influence of Islam, the architecture of the mosque of the Mali Kingdom is still very unique and can be regarded as African. The cliff house of Madungon country made by Dogon is also an impressive ancient building of Mali. Sombo's eleph at Ijeb Ord in Nigeria built by Yoruba's people is actually the largest colonial period building on the continent. Today, it stands on the city covered with vegetation.

One of the most attractive and forgotten societies is the Middle Kingdom of the Middle Ages that prospered in West Africa from the 13th to the 15th century. Early Mari was founded by a German-speaking German, Mandinka, controlled by the Karst leadership committee who chose "Mansa" to rule. Sundiata Keita is responsible for the rise of Mali. Despite his legendary life and deeds, Sundiata is not a myth but a talented military leader. He succeeded in defeating the oppressional control of Smangle, the leader of the Soviet Union who had dominated the Ghana empire. After Susu collapsed, Sandiata declared that it is essential for Ghana's prosperity that gold and salt trade is advantageous. As Mansa, he established a cultural exchange system so that famous leaders' children can spend in foreign courts.
