Dark, dense rainforest, rain falls on the green leaves, birds chatter in the canopy. On the forest floor, the two dark shapes were intertwined with each other, shrieking and squirting, silencing the whole forest. Dark shapes indicate that they are a pair of male gorillas, and suddenly they collide with hind feet and with an impulse to the swing. Because the snoring of the bones is filled with the quiet jungle air, a big gorilla directly hits other gorillas.
Social Darwinism is a social theory, and natural selection in the Darwinian theory is used in human society. Social Darwinism is valued from Darwin's theory. However, social Darwinism is a belief that is prevalent in the late Victorian era in England, the USA and other areas. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the theory of social Darwinism and its influence on Australians. In this article I will briefly introduce it first. Next, we discuss the theory of social Darwinism. After that, I will explain the influence of social Darwinism on Australians. Finally, this is the conclusion of the article.
19th century philosopher Herbert Spencer advocated the idea of social Darwinism. Social Darwinism is to apply natural selection theory to social, political and economic problems. In its simplest form, social Darwinism follows the slogan of "strong survival" including human problems. This theory is destined to rule them as it was being used to promote the idea that Caucasian European races are better than other races. When Spencer began to promote social Darwinism, the technology, economics and government of "White Europe" improved compared to other cultures. Looking at this obvious advantage, as well as economic and military structure, some people think that natural selection is functioning, and races more suited for survival prevail. We claim that social welfare programs that support the poor and disadvantaged people are contrary to nature itself and even extend this idea to microeconomic problems.
205, despite the name of Charles Darwin, social Darwinism will be separated from Darwin's own limits analysis if the evolution theory of natural selection applies to the social world. As an essentialistic adaptation of natural selection, social Darwinism ignores the concept of introducing sympathy for Darwin's "human descendants" and "sex-related choices", London, John Murray, 1982. Only capitalist culture has the advantage of development. Indeed, as Castoriadis said, human culture is seen as a general trend of advantage and identity.
