Patients with schizophrenia show a high incidence of metabolic syndrome, which is associated with high mortality due to cardiovascular disease. The cause of metabolic syndrome in schizophrenia is multifactorial and may include unhealthy lifestyles such as antipsychotic medication, high level of stress and poor diet. Because poor diets can lead to metabolic abnormalities, the purpose of this review is to 1) diet patterns in schizophrenia patients, 2) relationships between these diet patterns and low metabolic properties, and 3) It is to clarify factors that may affect patterns
From 1950 to November 1, 2011, searches were done on Pubmed, Cochrane Library, Scopus, Embase, Ovid, Psychoinfo, and the ISI network. By examining these databases, a total of 783 articles were discovered. After reviewing titles, abstracts or full text and applying exclusion criteria, we examined 31 studies on diet patterns and their effects on metabolic parameters of schizophrenia.
Dietary deficiency in schizophrenia patients characterized by high intakes of saturated fats and low intake of fibers and fruits. This diet is likely to increase the risk of metabolic abnormalities. Data on possible causes of poor diet in schizophrenia are still small and contradictory
Subjects with schizophrenia show poor diets, which in part lead to a higher incidence of metabolic abnormalities. Further research is necessary to clarify the cause of dietary deficiency and the influence of diet therapy on health improvement.
Interestingly, research indicates that the link between schizophrenia and homicide may be regulated by substance abuse. In this study, "Systematic review and meta-analysis of schizophrenia and violence: schizophrenia", the author conducted a systematic review of surveys to investigate the risk of murder in schizophrenia and other psychiatric patients . Schizophrenia and other psychiatric disorders are related to violent and violent crimes such as homicide in particular. However, most of the excess risk is thought to be due to drug abuse coexistence. As with substance abuse, there is no psychosis. "

A systematic randomized controlled trial of music therapy for psychiatric patients was recently conducted. Cochrane commented on the use of depression patients (Maratos et al., 2008) and people with schizophrenia and schizophreniform diseases (Mossler et al., 2011), interventions improved mood and psychopathology It is reported that it will be improved. These reviews also report that patients are participating in music therapy and participation, the dropout rate is low, indicating that music has the ability to maintain patient interest. In patients with schizophrenia, recently rhythm, musical mood, rhythmical outline, and lack of casual music memory have been reported. It is well known that melodic and rhythm perception and music memory can predict speech working memory, speech memory and facial emotion recognition in schizophrenic patients (Chandrashekaran, 2015). True sorrow can be avoided, but sad music is often heard
