AZA is a non-profit organization 501 (c) 3 which is devoted to advancing the development of zoos and aquariums in the fields of conservation, education, science and entertainment. AZA represents over 200 institutions that meet the highest standards of animal care, provide interesting and educational family experience, and invest millions of dollars in scientific research, conservation and education programs.
The Zoo Aquarium Association helps members and animals take care of their lives by providing services that promote animal welfare, citizen participation, and protection of wildlife.
The Zoo and Aquarium Association (AZA) founded in 1924, formerly the American Zoo and Aquarium Association, the first American Zoo and Aquarium Association), it is a non-profit tackling the promotion of regional aquariums and zoos in North America Organization development protection, education, science and entertainment.
