Voice of democracy (VOD) is an annual national scholarship program sponsored by VFW. This is an audio essay contest for high school students from 9th grade to 12th grade. This program offers more than $ 2.3 million a year scholarship. In competition with all the first winners of the VFW (state), the winner receives a scholarship of 30,000 dollars and is paid to a US university, a university, or a vocational school of a direct receiving school.
