Medicine is always an important part of helping people get better, and it has been in use for a long time. You can find medicine back hundreds of years ago. It all began with Hippocrates, an ancient Greek doctor, 400 BC. He proposed four kinds of humorous ideas. Four kinds of humor: blood, sputum, yellow bile, black bile. He believes that if you have these imbalances you will get sick. The second person to enter the medicine world is Galen.
Medical history department is the oldest department in North America. We are working on the history of medicine, disease, health science and society. The agency aims to incorporate historical perspective into modern health problems. Teachers conduct research on a wide range of topics, periods, and geographical areas.
