Most of our latest information on the maritime economy is based primarily on historical events in the world economy. As the world gets more global and interconnected, the shipping industry and the port industry face challenges and are getting more business opportunities. Maritime transport is the primary means of transporting parts and finished products worldwide, and recently it has received increasing attention from maritime economists. Since shipping is a very old industry, whose history has changed, sometimes slowly, sometimes with disasters, we have repeatedly discovered that shipping and trade are separated from the economy and the economy.
New digital technology has been introduced to the maritime department at an unprecedented speed and applied. For example, opportunities and challenges brought to the industry around a new era of autonomous delivery are discussed. In this regard, while the maritime industry is increasingly dependent on cyberspace, it provides many advantages to expose the international maritime community to new uncalculated vulnerabilities. Especially, as dependency on algorithms is increasing, effective cyber security throughout the maritime sector is an urgent task.
Globalization of the economy will continue to evolve due to increased maritime trade and problems with ports and waterways. In response to many challenges, the Coast Guard will carry out its traditional missions, but even in these missions, there will be changes and adjustments that require new capabilities. In 1999, as before, only new tasks and ambiguous tasks are suppressed by the Coast Guard. The Coast Guard unit of tomorrow must have flexibility, capability, cooperation, multi-agency and multinational interoperability to provide effective service to that country. The Coast Guard has unique features as a multi mission maritime agency with regulatory, law enforcement and humanitarian response capabilities and military capabilities. It provides highly active, well-trained and cost-effective services that are flexible and adaptable to meet changing national priorities in the country
As we move to the 21st century, the challenges facing the United States are quite different from the issues of national security in the Cold War era, which has been around for nearly 50 years. In the marine environment, a complex series of maritime users, profits, and cross-border risks including pollution, overfishing, illegal entry, drug smuggling, international terrorism, weapons of mass destruction, challenge the United States, for example, I will do. Meanwhile, the US Coast Guard needs a lot of physical and human resources. Billions of dollar investment assets to Coast Guard and nearly 40,000 service members dedicated to that organization. The organizational function of the service is an important part of the management implementation level.
