Patron-Artist Relations in the Renaissance

Guardian of Renaissance - Artists' relationship artists - The theme of customer relations is a sensitive theme from the beginning of the phenomenon. As artists tend to prefer freelance individuals rather than individual art types, it does not take such important priorities today. The world of Renaissance often uses art sponsorship. A wealthy "customer" supports artists economically and socially, creates art that promotes the glory of God (and is often sponsored by guardians). The most famous customer is the Medici family in Florence. The artists they visited included Raffaello and Michelangelo, and the contribution to their art made Florence the center of world culture. However, not everyone can access families of wealthy merchants.

During the Renaissance, artists were entirely dependent on customers. Probably the most wealthy family in Europe, the Medici family accounted for the majority of the de facto rulers of Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance. A member of this family is known for cultivating the Renaissance next to Lorenzo de Medici. Known as Lorenzo the Magnificent, he is probably the most famous and enthusiastic supporter of the Renaissance. He did not ask for much of his own work, but many artists, including Da Vinci, Botticelli and Michelangelo, helped receive fees from other customers. He is also supporting the development of Renaissance humanism through the circle of academic circles. Lorenzo de Medici is an artist who writes poetry in his hometown Tuscany.
