Women's liberation movement in the United States began in the 1960s, continued till the 1970s, played an important role in American society. These women are spreading nationwide, so the role of women has changed. Many of the feminist exercise efforts have been successful and open doors to countless opportunities. Women are successful in many areas, including education, business, politics and even families. Feminism has begun to attract more viewers than ever. Women's movement has even its music a brilliant moment. The song "I am a woman" recorded by Helen Reddy ranked first in the Billboard Hot 100 list and became a hymn of women's movement. Although most of the campaign's goals have been successful, there are still some failures, such as the wage gap not shrinking. It only shrinks. The most notable failure was that we did not approve the end of an equal right revision to the liberation movement of women.

Because of the riots, the National Guard responded to restart peace and was ordered to order protests. On May 4, 1970, the route was regenerated, the crowd grew bigger than before and the National Guard began firing at all protests. Nine students were injured and four died. This incident became the main content of the protest action of the anti-Vietnam War, and shocked people across the country.

The main players of NWICO are unified countries, UNESCO, and the Sean McBride Commission. McBride's report "One World, Many Voices" in 1980 recommended the outline of a new global media order. The report was approved by members of UNESCO. In the early 1980s, the United States and Britain departed from UNESCO and opposed NWICO.
