Antisemitism in the Middle Ages

More than 6 million Jews (one-third of the world's Jewish population) were brutally and systematically killed during the Second World War. After decades of contemporary anti-Semitism suppression in Europe after the Holocaust, new anger broke out in a new form in recent years: "anti-Zionism" or hatred against the Israel state. Zionism is a Jewish National Liberation Movement, but it represents their legitimate desire for self-determination and national independence. The Zionist movement was founded to provide its own sovereign state to ancient people of ancient homeland.
