Introduction: Federal and state mandated medical systems use "meaningful use" electronic health records (EHR) systems. Pre-made single-source EHR systems such as EPIC® are prevalent. In fact, EPIC® has recently expanded to academic institutions, accounting for the majority of the Houston Texas Medical Center (TMC), the CVS pharmacy mini clinic. The estimates currently reported are controversial, but differ between 20-47% of the EHR market share. Therefore, it is prudent to check the EPIC.
Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to report systematic and comprehensive comments on the scientific literature on the pros and cons of EPIC from the viewpoint of "meaningful use".
METHODS: The findings reported in this paper are based on EPIC open source, peer-reviewed scientific literature, and repeated reviews.
Survey Results: EPIC is better at providing precise / connected information in real time to fine-tune medical practices. However, hidden costs such as expensive vendor support and add-on programs, "technical sleepwalking", increased data entry "leisure time tax", training, etc. are related to EPIC. Nonetheless, EPIC enhances patient safety, monitoring, tracking, ongoing care, and patient involvement. It is also expected to be useful as a tool for medical education. However, the end user's satisfaction level never exceeds 70% (C-). EPIC has failed in the management of electronic documents, especially the protection of human research themes. Finally, the results were reported from a preliminary check of the EPIC Transition Help Desk online response.
Conclusion: EPIC provides a high quality, highly skilled front-to-back EHR system for collecting and managing accurate "raw" interconnected medical record data for timely reporting. However, it brings a lot of hidden costs. In addition, EPIC lacks electronic document management. Future research approach to EPIC

Electronic health records are digital or electronic records of patient health information collected within the history of interactions between patients and health care systems. Electronic health record keeps all information on patient's health. Information varies, such as age / sex, drugs and vital signs, past medical history, laboratory data, radiology reports, etc. The concept of medical report dates back to the 5th century BC and was developed by Greek doctor Hippocrates, also known as Hippocrates' s pledge. Hippocrates explained the two main goals behind his discovery - medical records should accurately reflect the course of the disease 2 - medical records should indicate the cause of the disease. Currently, electronic health records first appeared in the 1960's. According to reports, at least 73 hospitals are be
