This brief report describes the results of the first community engagement conference with Californian lesbians, gay, bisexuals, transgender and question (LGBTQ) youth (including color youth). Their voices provide a struggle to be eliminated from the direct explanation of community needs and full participation of society as a member of the community. Their experience and insight will provide valuable guidelines for developing prevention and early intervention (PEI) programs and improving mental health services in the community.
