Yentl was established in Eastern Europe in 1904 and caught the essence of the eternal struggle of Jewish women. This is the story of a young girl who loves to learn, but the Jewish tradition forbids doing so. After her father died, Yentl pretended to be a boy who goes to the seminary (religious school) and continues learning. She made friends with Jeshiba's male scholar Avigdor and fell in love with him. Moved by her love to him, Yentl does everything with his power to confirm that he is near her and that her secrets are not revealed. Yentl suffered from her secret until she could no longer keep silent. She conveyed what he did to Abigdor and his love to him, but he was unable to accept a woman who refused to act as a traditional woman. So Yentl is heading towards America and wants a different way of thinking, but she never forgets her love for Avigdor and everything she has learned.

In adapting the short story 'Yentl the Yeshiva Boy' to the music, the Jewish girl camouflaged as a religiously trained boy. The cultural male and female asymmetry described in the medical community quotes the term "Yentl syndrome". Women need to prove that women are equal to men, especially in cardiology, before receiving equal treatment. This documentary is one of the most famous movies on my list, showing the ball culture of African American, Latin American, Homosexual and Transgender communities in New York in the 1980s. After watching this movie, I was shocked by the vivid and complete understanding of this subculture and how far it is from mainstream culture.
