Year Round Schooling: Should It Be Implemented?

One of the most concerned school education problems today is middle school education for one year. The program began as a new learning method. The old ways in which America was a country of agriculture and how to make most school calendars were designed the same way as at harvest. Many studies were conducted and several schools implemented this plan. The school which studied and implemented the program saw good and bad things in their research.

Many schools have carried out school education throughout the year to combat the learning disabilities of this summer. In 2007 the National Education Association of the Year reported that 3,000 schools annually registered more than 2 million students in the United States. However, according to research, students' academic abilities can be improved by receiving school education throughout the year. In one study low-income students were discovered to be other students during the grade. Students had similar success; the gap of achievement between the two groups expanded during the summer. In another study, it was found that summer learning losses are more prominent than mathematical facts, spelling, and certain other academic materials (Cooper, Nye, Charlton, Lindsay & Greathouse, 1996).

In our country, we need to consider school education throughout the year. Convenient? In the traditional grade, at the beginning, when the United States is an agricultural society, there is about 3 months of rest in summer each summer. There is no vacation to respond to contemporary problems, such as the need to "downtime" to defrost and "become a child". This system arises from economic needs. Indeed, as early as the mid-nineteenth century, the school opposite the first school year calendar was an urban area rather than an agricultural calendar like Chicago and New York. However, for the first time in a while, the whole idea gained momentum. Overall, school education seems to show a slight advantage for students in their studies throughout the year, but the number of students is not enough to get a good reading at this time.
