Written on bones is a novel written originally by British criminal novelist Simon Beckett published in 2007. This is the second novel featuring Dr. David Hunt [1] [2].

This criminal novel is in the Outer Hebrides Islands, featuring forensic anthropologist Dr. David Hunt. In this book he was asked to examine severely burned bodies found in abandoned houses of small islands, competing with personal and professional obstacles. It was a scientific detail of satisfactory plot twist and excellent implementation, received a better positive evaluation than Beckett's first novel. [3]
