Writing an Academic Essay: Learning English for Academic Purposes

In this online course, you learn strategies for convenient reading and memo writing, then learn how to effectively use information and ideas of reading materials effectively and properly. Learn vocabulary learning skills and learn how to write sentences, paragraphs, and papers. In recent weeks, you can use these skills to submit academic papers and gain feedback from detailed educators.

Through this process, we will focus on teamwork, leadership, organizational culture, marketing, and globalization, reading academic papers and learning vocabulary related to business and management.

This course is designed for students who wish to study English at university. I recommend you to change the current English level to IELTS 5.

This course will develop advanced academic reading and writing skills for students who have completed the academic English program. Students will do academic work in areas they are interested in, including research and writing research papers. Learning outcomes of this course include reading comprehension, writing skills, academic vocabulary, and improvement of research skills. All of these are done in a single content field of your choice. The reading is authentic and comes from publications of chosen fields. Students write a brief report on their research and present it to the class.

Despite the emphasis on reading and research, English 1102 is still mainly written courses. The purpose of reading and research is to involve students into academic studies, but the main purpose of the course is to teach students to write in an acceptable way to academia. So, we can design to help you understand what students are doing when they experience invention exercises, peer groups, multiple drafts, freelance writing, editing courses, and complex and recursive processes Using the teaching method.
