We also have reviews such as editorials, books, movie reviews. However, this course deals strictly with news and feature articles.

News articles cover the basics of current events. They answered the question: who, what, where, how, and when?

Feature articles are longer and deeper than regular news articles. They cover a single topic from multiple angles and are written in a more creative and interesting format. News articles are also creative and fun. See the example below.

Remember that news and functions need the same level of investigation and reporting.

The best way to create a newspaper article is to write a summary first. Please check your research and memos. Then write down the ideas of the next six sections. Remember, this is just the foundation for building a story.

What facts and numbers lay the foundation for your story? You must tell your readers when and where the story happened.

What is an unforgettable way to end the story? The last reference is a good way to summarize. This does not always work. If you quote two or more people with different opinions in your story, you can not end with one of them. The last sentence given to one of your interviewees can direct stories to them. In this era of the Internet you can even get more information and even your own behind-the-scenes blog posts to end your story.

Remember that the first version of your story is a draft, not completed. This is a good tip for providing high quality stories to editors and teachers.
