Worst Environmental Problem? Overpopulation

There are various environments. Normally, the physical environment is regarded as natural, a psychological environment in which human interaction is established, and a political environment filled with operation and attitude. The vast majority of people have a great impact on the natural environment, but the psychological and political influences are less obvious. Therefore, overpopulation is the most pressing environmental issue today. The famous hermit Henry David Thoreau once wrote that there is enough space for humans.

Overpopulation is becoming a major environmental problem, and resources are consumed faster than they are created. Mr. Hoevel explained that "population density will exceed population density if it exceeds environmental capacity to meet individual health needs" (Hoevel 1). This means that after the population has overused resources in certain areas, the environment no longer supports them and there are problems with excessive population. Wenner explained as "sustainability"

In addition to exhaustion of resources, overpopulation can also increase environmental problems. Pollution is an environmental problem, and its population is increasing due to overpopulation. As more and more drivers are traveling and consuming more electricity, more garbage, and depleted trees, environmental problems will increase dramatically. However, as people like us contaminate, many problems will arise. Pollution in developing countries is expanding. Unfortunately, as the wealthier the country with higher population growth rate, pollution will increase as wealth increases.

Along with the rapid population growth, dangerous environmental problems are occurring. Population growth has brought various threats to our ecosystem. Overpopulation is the fundamental cause of environmental degradation such as global warming, ozone hole, destruction of tropical rainforest, contamination etc. Global warming means that the temperature of the whole earth rises as the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere rises. Human activity including breathing releases these gases and slowly warms the earth (Stefoff 39). Because humans need more space, the rate of deforestation is faster than their own breeding. Forest logging causes other problems such as species death. Biologist Edward Wilson believes that from 10,000 to 17,500 plants, birds, insects, reptiles and mammals will become instinctive every year (Stefoff 45). As population growth increases dramatically, the increase in pollution is a clear environmental problem
