There is music in every aspect of our life. Music is an integral part of life. It can be traced back to the most primitive time. There are places where there is some form of music from culture to culture. Country languages, belief systems, and many other variables have a major impact on what is considered music and what is not music. That is why it is important to consider the environment in which it is created when listening to music. This allows you to appreciate a variety of sounds and music structures such as rhythm, melody, harmony, lack of music.
Taarab is a popular music style in Tanzania. It may be affected by cultural music from historical events in East Africa, including music from East Asia, sub-Saharan Africa, northern cameras, the Middle East and European countries. Siti binti Saad, Taarab, the first superstar of this genre, gained popularity in 1928.
Currently, Africa is divided into two cultural groups: North Africa and sub-Saharan Africa. This indicates that Northwest Africa is closely related to the Middle East whereas Sub-Saharan Africa has a different history, material and social characteristics than North Africa, the University of Colorado said. The harsh environment is an important element in sub-Saharan African culture development, as many languages, food, art, and music styles emerge in distant populations.
From the above discussion, we can see the two major cultural areas of the world: Sub-Saharan Africa and East Asia. Europe is another major cultural area. The Middle East ranging from Morocco to a part of Afghanistan is another cultural area. South Asia - consisting of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and several adjacent areas - is also a good candidate designated as a unique area. In other words, the interconnected continent of Eurasia and Africa can be divided into five distinctly different cultural areas. Each region actually contains many cultures, but the mainstream culture of a single area has many things in many cases.
The above picture shows each religious belief in each region. The contents displayed are very interesting. Christians are good at Asia, the Middle East, and sub-Saharan Africa. Of these areas, only the population of sub-Saharan African Christians is the majority. Christian has poor performance in Europe, Latin America, North America. Or consider Hindus. In Asia, Hindus go less well than other groups. In other places, they are one of the rare religions and they are doing well. Buddhists can see similar trends. The only group that has improved considerably steadily by occupying the majority of the population may be irrelevant, but this trend will collapse when you look at the country data of a very unrelated country in Eastern Europe and Asia.
