The most important part of private life is a family. Given the importance of family units and the various roles that are widely protected by human families, there is a specific vocabulary in English to deal with this important function in human life.

There are many forms of families in America and around the world. When trying to define the word "family", you can see that the concept is slippery. Does the family refer to people related to blood? The definition of this family does not include parents and adopted children derived from the family definition. It also denies the existence of imaginary relatives and unrelated fellows who are considered to be members of a single family. Families are families with nuclear weapons, which are common in modern America (consisting of parents legally married and their children). This does not include relatives and family relatives such as uncle, aunt, grandparents, cousins, nephews, prostitutes and so on.
