If you can think of it, you can do it. Right? Well ... not so fast. Fantasy is feeling well, I believe you are definitely good, but research showed that keeping your mind in the clouds can make you not to reach the stars, Oh, the stars . This week Shankar and the conversation of psychologist Gabriel Oettingen, he reflects positive thoughts: a new science of internal motives
Over the years, Ettingen has studied diet therapy, students, job seekers, courtesy, people recovering from physical injuries and other struggers. She discovered that they all have in common. People who have stronger and more positive fantasies about achieving goals are less likely to actually achieve these goals. We lose weight, poor grades, fewer job opportunities, continue living alone, slowly recover from injuries
However, there is a way to achieve our goal more and realize our widest (real) dream. It is called a WOOP, or an outcome disability plan

(Note: If you choose an unrealistic goal, WOO P will reduce your motivation, energy and reduce the chances of achieving your goal.) As you know this will happen Since it is not realistic, I can waste my time and stop setting more viable targets I've explained this in detail in a psychological comparative article. Objective Complete such an article I use it for small things such as meditation every morning and reading before bedtime.I use it in the context to stop procrastination More realistically It will be used for changes in long-term behavior, such as becoming or improving productivity.
The WOOP method was created by Professors Psychology Professors Gabriele Oettingen and Dr. Peter Gollwitzer at New York University and scientifically proved to improve everything from academic performance to drug poisoning. This strategy uses psychological comparisons to develop concrete plans to achieve targets and recovery methods if not done. Since the pitfalls considered are to be considered in advance, the WOOP approach can help plan an emotional emergency response plan. By redefining barriers as opportunities rather than destructive barriers, we can easily overcome problems by reducing failures of internalization and following the behavioral steps we have already done.
The next step is to use a scientific method called the WOOP method. The WOOP method aims to convert targets to physical form using pen and paper. Let's break it. W stands for Wish. What are the goals you want to accomplish? What kind of changes do you make? Please write down only that. It is best to concentrate on one goal at a time. O represents the result. What will be the outcome if we achieve our goals? For example, "Losing 5 pounds makes me feel more confident about my body and I can try on my bikini!" O stands for an obstacle. What are the obstacles that interfere with you? What is the wall that will prevent you leaving your destination? Is it the chocolate cake you saw inside the store? Is it your secret that seeing at the gym does not know how to use the machine? Write down all the bricks that make up the wall. P stands for Plan. If you encounter these bricks, how do you handle this situation?
