Woodstock

Woodstock Woodstock Woodstock is a rock festival taking place in a small town named Bethel near Woodstock, New York. The festival was held on August 15th 1969 on 16th and 17th for 3 days. The initial plan of Woodstock was an outdoor rock festival that held "Three Days of Peace and Music" at Woodstock Village in Catskill. It is estimated that 50,000 to 100,000 people gather in this festival. It is estimated that there are over 400,000 people. If it is not woodstock, rock music will not be like today.

Woodstock's initial plan was to establish a recording studio in Woodstock (1). When musicians Bob Dylan and The Band settled there, Woodstock became a lock center to promote the concept of the studio, the four partners of the festival. (Michael Lang, Artie Kornfield, John Roberts, Joel Rosenman) decided to hold a concert. They officially called it Woodstock Music Festival and Art Fair. The Monterey Pop Festival in Monterey, California in 1967 influenced the Woodstock music festival (Sandow, 1). Woodstock's partner eventually borrowed some of the land from the famous local dairymen, Max Yasgur, who owns 48 miles from Woodstock.
