Women's Roles In China

Early in the 20th century, women in China suffered great losses in the beginning of the 20th century. Because half of the people could not make much contribution to the country. At the time, since men dominated Chinese society, women accounted for almost half of the total population, but in reality they played a small role in improving the country economically, socially and intellectually . Nonetheless, Chinese women should not be condemned. They tried to overcome them later because they are not very useful for their own reasons.

The role of women in China is basically a good example of how women's empowerment contributes to society. One aspect of women's freedom and status in China is that it does not duplicate western European feminism as ideal. This is not to say that feminism has problems in the West, but it means that Chinese women define their own feminism. Despite the belief that Chinese feminists draw some principles from west feminists, Chinese feminists also maintain their Asian views.

Chinese women still have to comply with the traditional role fixed by their culture. The Communist revolution took an important step in verifying the role of Chinese women and recognizing their legitimacy. Correctly, Chinese feminists are not satisfied with the movement to better understand the status in society and the value of women in society.

Women's role in the field of science and technology is very big. My interpretation of Chinese history shows that women play an important role in regional expansion and the formation of economic growth. The same could be said about the cultural revolution. There, women occupied an important position in addition to their wives and girlfriends as cultural leaders. The same can be said for this generation. All the startups and technology companies I visit have women in senior or leadership positions, many of whom are responsible for setting company strategic goals. Many people are actually founders. I am convinced that China has tolerance and equality problems, but in fact, I know - these companies have female leaders. This is a good sign.
