Her memoirs "Do not inspire me" reflects her experience as a disabled woman and provides a political analysis of disability. Stella Young uses the phrase "impressed porn" to show that this obstacle is seen as a moving tendency to be harmful to the performance of people with disabilities. Stella said in her TED speech, "I am not here to stimulate you." She believes that we sold a lie, the obstacle is a bad thing - "This is not a bad thing, it will not make you unusual"
