Women's Equality

The concept of equality has always existed since Puritan first entered the new world. But their concept of equality is that men are equal to men and men are not equal to women. Since the Puritan era, the rights of women have improved greatly. Through the promotion of women's rights movement, American literature, and feminism throughout the United States, women were more equal than men in the early days of American history. Just a few centuries ago, women 's rights were about the same as they are now.

Women equality is not universal. Women's equality in terms of education, employment, and power are individuals, not universal achievements. Most of our women are still satisfied with accepting a poor position. Basically, women have the same rights as men by law, but women do not have enough work and working women are not adequately protected from exploitation. Do not know the legal status: Women often do not understand the rules related to status improvement. Even if they knew some rules related to inheritance, marriage or family rights, they do not want to activate them. Because the authority of male parents, husbands and other families is traditionally dominated, the legal rights of women are often restricted. Specification of these problems is still largely dependent on changes in social attitudes.

Women's rights activists have influenced this country, thinking that women are the same as men, changed the social role of traditional women. In the 1800s her husband had legitimate power against his wife. In a sense, he owns her so women have little respect for their culture. However, as women pursue equal rights, many men are beginning to regard women as equality. This gained greater respect in their culture. An example of the social change that occurs as a result of women's rights movement is that she retains her maiden name even after Lucy Stone got married. Fifty years before the women's rights movement began, such small incidents were not allowed in the community. When women struggled for women 's rights in the 1800' s, the social role of women began to change slowly.
