Women in Ruth's book are basically lazy, praised for lack of purity and libido, and complimented as decorations, but they have no more effect than social etiquette to lay a child. The function of life that was established by Judaism and Christian ethics and strengthened in the story of Ruth. Although the story of Ruth is published in the Old Testament, its relevance is not limited by its age, it is directly related to the plight of modern women.

Some women have been admired with Ruth and Esther. "The Book of Ruth" is a story of a young Moab woman who is faithful to the Jewish mother-in-law and hopes to immigrate to Israel and become part of their culture. She got married to the Israelites and since then King David came from her bloodline, this story ends with her praise and blessing. In Esther, a young woman of a Jewish descendant called Esther was praised as a courageous Persian Queen and rescued a lot of people from being killed by the king's request.

It is only Ruth in the Esther - Hebrew Bible that has a book named after her. Ruth's book is a perfect example of a short story with a few letters and a compact plot with fast tempo, where all loose target is divided into four short chapters. But the exquisite simplicity of the book suggests that the lack of mystery is wrong. Regarding Ruth 's book and about Ruth' s personality, there are still many questions to consider, starting with whether Ruth should be regarded as a hero in her own book.

So is Ruth the hero of her own book? I think that the answer is yes. Ruth does not have official powers or authority in books, but she informs things informally. Ruth is our hero if the "hero" of the story is a definitive solution to the central tension of the plot. Tension in the story is evolving around the death of Naomi lacking male heirs, and hence the society in which women depend on male relations, her economic anxiety. Ruth is also a widow, but she is young, so it is in an unstable situation. Ruth can, through (some very bold and dangerous behavior, (finally) provide her and the heir necessary for Naomi to survive.
