Women in Aviation

In March 1990, 150 people gathered at the first Aviation Women's Aviation Conference held at the campus of Embry-Riddle Aviation University in Prescott, Arizona.

No one knew what would happen at the first meeting, but it was clear that the airline industry needed more women after weekend exchanges. International air women established a professional nonprofit organization in December 1994.

Representatives from 21 countries participated in WAI of 3,200 participants, Reno, Nevada, and participated in the 29th International Air Women's Conference

The exhibition hall sponsored 162 companies and organizations representing all aspects of the aviation industry, including drones reconnaissance aircraft.

At every stage of career, WAI members receive a total of 142 scholarships. The prize money earned this year is 695,500 dollars, and since 1995 all WAI scholarships have exceeded 11 million dollars.

The Global Air and Women's Association (iWOAW) announced the winners of the 8 th Air Force Global Women's Week, 2018 FlyItForward® Challenge to be held from March 5 to 11, 2018. Since 2010, local people have held local events every year, raised consciousness and introduced all the girls.

The International Aviation Women's Organization (WAI) is a non-profit organization 501 (c) (3) aimed at providing women and men seeking employment in the aerospace industry for networking, education, mentoring and scholarship opportunities, is. Peggy Baty Chabrian is Director of Academic Support at Embry - Riddle Aviation University and has difficulty attracting and maintaining female aviation students.
