Women and ethnic minorities in television and movies started in this winter, but unless criticizing women and ethnic minorities to draw, they can not watch TV or movies any more. One of the unexpected things I got from participating in this course was the sense of caution when writing a sentence. If I did not directly criticize certain parts of the media, I experienced it; I was inspired to read and was influenced by a number of female thinkers. For me, it's all together, what I want to do; I just need to figure out that way.
Today: Women and ethnic minorities will no longer be written in pseudonyms unless they choose, Emily Dickinson is welcomed as one of the best poets in American history. However, with the emergence of movies, television, computer games and other forms of entertainment, the market of poetry and literary novels has gradually declined. Novels and poems released in major magazines such as "New Yorker" and "Harper" are getting less and less, and few "small" literary magazines fill this space.
There are overflowing media images of slender women in various places, such as TV programs, movies, popular magazines. Media often applies a thin body to women. These are also pictures showing young people in their lives, they are particularly vulnerable and look good with pressure from their peers. Because of this influence, the image of bad bodies can begin to develop at a very young age. More than 50% of girls aged 9 to 10 have a meal better (3). About 80% of girls of this age group say they died to lose weight. Likewise, some boys from 9th grade to 10th grade found to use anabolic steroid hormones to gain more muscle mass. More often, the negative body image only affects girls and women, but it is not so.
For women born in the early 1980s, media sex was always a partner. Sex can be seen everywhere in golden time television shows, movies, music videos. For programs and commercials, women do not wear hints or dress on rarely on an hour's TV. Sexual images are posted in magazine articles and advertisements. The latest issue of Cosmopolitan may include hundreds of naked ladies, stories of sexual accidents, even even the ancient art of Kama Sutra.
