Domestic affairs include physical and mental maintenance, childbirth, cleaning, cooking, and other labor. This kind of labor will in turn lead to the reproduction of the labor force. In almost every society, women are responsible and obliged to do this kind of work. According to the Marxist framework, domestic labor for labor can also be regarded as the source of surplus value. Therefore, according to this conceptual framework, families under capitalist regime are places of social production. In modern India, these activities in domestic and informal sectors are not recognized and are underestimated due to the distance from exchanges and markets.
This was one of two arguments about the role of women, which was commonplace in the 1970s, but definitely resolved by the subsequent work and the development of family life. Obviously, full-time domestic labor in women in families is not important for capitalist production. As production needs changed, the unpaid work force of home women decreased. As the whole system benefits, capitalism can adapt ideologically and substantially to the decline in the number of full-time housewives
Women who are trying to understand the basis of repression, familiar with families, especially families with children know their own experiences that domestic labor is playing a central role. In most areas of the Third World, women continue to work on family and self-sufficiency work such as carrying water, raising food, preparing food, making clothes. In this country domestic labor is more difficult and time consuming, but still chores, most men are almost completely free.
First of all, it seems that some groups under oppression are clearly exploited. (Here I will be limited to one example: women.) The fact that women are exploited as women's family labor is determined by social research (and common sense). This is obviously part of sex difference, not just the widespread use of workers by employers. Therefore it is said that it is contrary to exploitation to place women (as women) in an oppressive position. Let me recognize that they are exploited only as female workers. We are fully aware that women's housework is being used as a woman (more accurately, as a gender-specific target). (The use here is not narrowly defined capitalist use, that is, investor - capitalist residual value extraction.
