The struggle for women's independence must fight for independence. They have been oppressed for a long time. Until very recently, women have begun to be respected as equal and individual. Even today, women are still considered sexual. From historical beggars, women are considered to be smaller gender. When we are Mesopotamian women, we are responsible for our children and their families. In ancient Egypt, women did not have power or authority. Women are considered property. The Hebrews respect women in the middle, they do not allow them to possess any property or occupy the site within the government.
This story shows the need for women to be independent. This story explores women who are crazy for inactivity. But in a broader sense this story is also exploring the struggle between marriage and career, social expectations and personal goals. While reading about Gilman's own life, this story clearly reflects her emotions that it is trapped in marriage. The narrator lost a lot of her independence and self-determination, but the decision still present for her is that she wants to demolish the wallpaper and let the mysterious woman free. In her own life, Gilman also tried to free himself and other women. "When she left her husband, she became a woman of the world - the creator of her own creative - it became an educator of another woman." In a sense, the narrator of the story is also the creation of her own idea. It is a person. Indeed, she created her own reality.
Through age, women strive for independence and become individuals in their own lives. "Women of the phenomenon" written by Maya Angelow is poetry, the hymn of the power of all the women in their own women. (Angelou 1) This poem tells us about the position in our society. "Watch me!" "My strength was beautiful, regardless of my figure" (Angelou 2) This poem reminds me that a woman is full of beauty and physical strength.
As a woman in her 30's. I had a hard time finding the balance between being a strong, independent, confident woman and a soft and dignified woman. Me and all the women have both sides of me. My part can not weaken my confidence or wisdom, and I do not do it, because I think I might scare someone when I am dating. The hardship is true. It is not that the fight for men is not true. I know that many people are working hard, I am not good enough, I have enough money to build my family, I can support her goals.
