Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

On January 27, 1756, Wolfgang Amadeus, the youngest child of Leopold Mozart and Anna Maria Pelte, was born in Salzburg. He was thought to be one of the most wonderful musicians in history, when he was 3 years old he was a keyboardist and a violinist. He was writing a symphony when he was 5 years old. His father, Leopoldo Mozart (1719-1787), is fully responsible for coaching Wolfgang and his sister Mariana ("Nannel"). She is a very talented keyboard player. From 1774 to 1777, Mozart became a Konzerthmeister in the Court of Archbishop Salzburg.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Leopold and Maria Pertl Mozart are the only sons who are present. Leopold is a concertmaster of successful composers, violinists and assistants at Salzburg's court. Wolfgang's mother, Anna Maria Pelt, was born in a middle-class family of local community leaders. His only sister is Maria Anna (nicknamed Nannerl). Under the encouragement and guidance of the father, they were introduced to music from a young age. When Leopold was 7 years old, he began using Nannerl with a keyboard like a 3 year old Wolfgang.
