In the reading of this month, I have read Patricia Crap's historical novel titled "Witch's children: The story of Salem". It is sometimes a bit repetitive, but although the personality is undeveloped, it is historically accurate, and more extensively deepens my understanding of witch trials. When we were assigned to read about this subject, it referred to the fear of the victim (usually a young girl) and the witch's vision. This book leads these "victims" to a more personal level.

Technically it's not a Halloween book, but Roald's book on horror children's books about kids becoming toe witches and mice is usually assigned to read at some point in October. A book for an older kid, a witch is one of my first books to really scare me because I read it alone, but this is my favorite Halloween reading I will not stop being one of them. My teacher smiled and said "Do not get up late" when my teacher designated Ray Bradbury's Halloween tree for reading. It makes me feel nervous - it is undoubtedly so. I remember everyone reading "Halloween tree" at school and appearing the next day.

Originally published in 1983, the witch tells the story of a boy and his grandmother who discovered a conspiracy to destroy all England children by means of older witches. The book was inspired by Dahl 's childhood charm with witches and magic, and the book' s grandmother was inspired by his mother. This book is still widely regarded as one of the most frightening kid-oriented books ever, and it has been for over 32 years now. The adaptation of book function was chosen by Lorimar Productions which was completed in 1989. Warner Brother finally purchased the copyright of the movie after the bankruptcy of Lorimar Production. It was announced in the United States on August 24, 1990 and received positive feedback from critics and fans, but it did not work well for a box office income of only $ 10,360,553. This movie was later worshiped with VHS and DVD, and got the highest rating on rotten tomatoes.
