Professor James Scott is Associate Professor of Department of Occupational and Environmental Health at Dalla Lana School of Public Health. He was appointed clinical pharmacology and toxicology department, and was appointed to the hospital at St. Michaels Hospital and Schick Kids Hospital. We first talked to him in the autumn of 2009. This is an updated version of the original interview that reflects some new research on this subject. I am one of the skeptics. However, as I criticized the research I came out, I can say that, it works. It is very effective for most bacteria and viruses. It is more effective to reduce the burden on the skin of bacteria than soap and water and keeps fewer bacteria on the skin than when using soap and water. It also contains less intense emollient so it has less damage to your skin
