Wind Energy: A Case Study

Wind power plant in Cape Town When I first learned about wind turbines as a source of renewable energy and wind power generation along the Cape Cod coast of Massachusetts, I thought that was a good idea. When I heard the opinion of a classmate who had a turbine in my hometown, I felt this. I am very interested in learning more about these wind turbines as an energy source, and I would like to further study this project.

The ninth literature review is a new wind energy system. This research paper is also a case study of wind energy system. "Due to the rapid depletion of fossil energy, wind power energy generation is attracting more attention in countries all over the world" (Chan and Lai, 2009). In this paper, case studies of several wind energy systems such as axial flux permanent magnet synchronous generators (AFPMSG) are directly coupled to a vertical axis wind turbine (VAWT). The axial flux permanent magnet synchronous generator was studied by two-dimensional finite element method and analytical method. Vertical axis wind turbines for urban areas are close to residential areas, so quiet operation is an important system. In summary, this article describes the wind energy system suitable for the urban environment. An axial flux permanent magnet synchronous generator has its advantages and advantages

In the next literature review, there is no literature review on the inertia of the wind power generation system. This research paper is a case study of wind power generation system. "Wind energy is rich, clean, powerful and persuasive power source, low inertia force of wind power generation system can be troublesome in operation of electric power system" (Abreu and Shahidehpour, 2006 ). This paper proposed a problem manipulation system, that is, inertia is a combination of wind energy and high inertial energy storage system to improve flywheel energy storage (FES) technology system. Flywheel FES technology combining energy storage and dynamic energy storage realizes high stability inertia and high efficiency and improves power quality. Wind power plants may not be able to deliver a certain amount of load because independent power plants are not entirely reliable and individual wind farms may not achieve the desired level of reliability.
