To save nature is the core of our work as WWF. Our mission is to find a solution to save great life on the planet by working closely with local communities with the best of science and technology for over 50 years.
However, our work has not been completed yet. Present human race extinction rate is late, at least 100 to 1000 times higher than expected. According to WWF's 2016 Living Earth report, the number of fish, birds, mammals, amphibians, reptiles worldwide has decreased by 58% between 1970 and 2012.
Its impact far exceeds the potential cultural loss of symbolic species such as tigers, rhinoceros and whales.
Fortunately, we also saw what works. WWF is part of the story of recovery of wildlife, from the southern African black rhinoceros to the Himalayan croutadori. And this will help protect the rich and diverse ecosystems while ensuring that people continue to benefit from nature.
But there is hope. A series of programs - the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) Graduate scholarship program, and a similar scholarship program operated by the Wildlife Conservation Network (WCN) and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). We will offer scholarship to the next generation of protected leaders. In some cases, they also provide support for finding, applying and entering international academic excellence institutions, providing guidance throughout the learning process, and in their lives Enter the next professional step.
The World Nature Conservation Fund, one of the world's largest conservation groups, was founded in 1961 to protect large wildlife protection space. Protection usually follows economic motivation; in this case wildlife remained in Africa during the collapse of the British Empire in the late 1940s to ensure that large-scale prey is commercially viable . According to the March 1 1872 Act, Congress founded Yellowstone National Park in Montana and Wyoming territory. "It is a public park or I am satisfied with the people's interests and enjoyment" It is under the exclusive control of the secretariat. "Establishment of the interior Yellowstone National Park has started a global national park movement, Today, there are more than 1,200 national parks or equivalent protected areas in more than 100 countries.
National parks and other wildlife reserves are the main source of wildlife protection in most areas of the world. In Ghana, the protection of wildlife and plants is in conflict with the authority of Mole National Park (NP) Park in the northern part of the country and the neighboring park community, especially Lara Banga (Marseille, 2004). Mall NP is a typical example of mandatory or exclusive management and did not seriously attempt to involve the community in park management by implementing an external forced exclusion policy during development (Marseille, 2004). Management of Mole NP belongs to the central government through the Ghana Wildlife Service. Western data and communities have been in poverty for many years and are making breeding places to accommodate various conflict situations (Marfo, 2003).
