Creating a wide area network The wide area network connects mass communication from people all over the world to various uses. "WAN is a telecommunications network covering a wide geographical area." The following article is a report on the characteristics and configuration of a wide area network (WAN). First, I will introduce the basic explanation of WAN and then continue to study the actual structure and operation method of WAN in detail. The intended purpose of this report is to enable individuals to better understand the subject of the report, with or without prior knowledge of the research field. The term WAN (Wide Area Network) refers to a network that covers a wide geographic area and connects intermediate nodes using communication nodes. WAN is used in cities, countries, and even the world. Typical transmission speeds are 2 Mbps, 34 Mbps, 45 Mbps, 155 Mbps, and 625 Mbps, but this may be exceeded. The WAN consists essentially of two or more LANs (local area networks) interconnected using WAN technology under high speed communication. The Internet is the largest, perhaps the best example of WAN. WAN technology usually works with the lower three layers of the OSI model, the physical layer, the data link layer, and the network layer (all layers are shown below in order). . Bridges, routers, multiplexers, and other devices are used for proper data transfer. Some WANs are very general (global), but most do not provide real global coverage. Organizations that support the WAN using Internet protocols are called network service providers (NSPs).

Wide area networks are networks that are dispersed over a wider area than LANs. Wide area networks usually consist of two or more LANs linked together. Another major difference between a local area network and a wide area network is that the wide area network uses switches. WAN can be spread across various countries. For communication purposes, the WAN is ideal for companies that may be in the U.S. but may have offices in the UK. In this case, concerned organizations need to communicate. For companies that require continuous digital traffic between the two offices, WAN is the ideal solution. If you set up a WAN for your company, that company will use its own server.
