In the fifth episode of Earworm of Vox Pop, I talked to Colin Morris and Elizabeth Margulis about the repetition of music.

Colin, a computer scientist, can create a tool named SongSim, run the lyrics of popular songs from a self-similar matrix, and show the music repeatedly. He is also responsible for one of my favorite data visualizations and draws the rise of music over time.
