Why We Celebrate Remembrance Day

Anniversary was an anniversary observed by Canadians and other federal members after the conclusion of World War I in commemoration of all who died fighting to defend our freedom. In Barbados, the anniversary is not a holiday. It was acknowledged as November 11, but parades and rituals were held on a Sunday celebration. This day was celebrated in honor of Barbados soldiers who died during the First World War and the Second World War.
