Today, vegetarianism is growing more and more among Americans. Vegetarianism is the principle or practice of excluding all animal products (eggs, cheese etc) from human meals in all meat and fish, and sometimes vegetarians, (Webster Dictionary). In other words, vegetarianism is a habit of not eating meat. There are mainly three types of vegetarians, lactose, lactose and vegetarians. Ovo lacto vegetarians do not eat meat, but eat eggs and dairy products; dairy vegetarians do not eat meat or eggs, but they eat dairy products.
Obesity is a big and growing problem among American children. Over the past 30 years, the childhood obesity rate in the United States has tripled. Today, one in five Americans is obese and the risk of lifelong health problems such as heart disease and type 2 diabetes is high. Obesity is thought to be the product of several interacting factors, including genetic susceptibility, behavior (dietary level and physical activity), and the environment (family, school, and community). To be effective, nutritional standards must cover all foods sold at school. We will create domestic nutrition standards for all foods sold throughout the campus school. School lunch needs to meet federal nutrition standards, but foods sold separately outside the scope of meal plan, such as those available in vending machines, do not need to meet equivalent nutritional standards.
Since 1991, the obesity rate has risen sharply. Substantial growth in adults of all ages suggests that obesity in older Americans may become a bigger problem in the future. For obese people over the age of 51 and older, the unbalanced score (three quarters) is 51 to 69 years old, but this age group accounts for only two thirds of the general population over the age of 51. Everyone's obesity rate is increasing, but some groups have a much higher rate. In particular, adults aged 51 to 69 years have a higher obesity rate than adults over 70 years of age (see Figure 1). The ratio of low income elderly to low educated people is also high, 27% for high school graduates and 22% for high school and higher. Non-Hispanic whites older than 51 years have the lowest obesity rate compared to adults of other racial and ethnic background of the same age
