In 1777 George Washington encountered the problem of leaving his soldiers in the army while in Valley Forge. In the winter of 1777, Washington decided to set up a winter camp and there was a place to live in the cold winter. Valley Forge does not have a bed to sleep. Many soldiers slept on the straw on a muddy floor. I am writing an article explaining why I do not quit resigning at Valley Forge. I am trying to quit Valley Forge. It is because the living environment is bad, the government does not want to help, and it may be sick or dying.
Sick soldier, cabin, bad ventilation, vomiting. This is just a part of the harsh conditions of the American Revolution Winter Camp called Valley Forge. The harsh environment provided by Valley Forge has forced many soldiers out. If I am a soldier of Valley Forge, I will resign even with the sudden increase in the number of deaths, the harsh atmosphere, and whether it is worth remaining. Death is definitely a problem for Valley Forge. For example, in February 1778, there were 8000 soldiers in Valley Forge (Doc A). Half of 8000 soldiers are sick. Indeed, the estimated number of American soldiers who died was small, 1,800 people (Source A). This shows how difficult it is to survive in Valley Forge. A doctor named Dr. Albigence Waldo wrote a diary about his experiences there. He stated that the soldier and how he was sick and he said "I had vomited half an hour" (document C)
