Why Timothy Treadwell Deserved to be Attacked by a Grizzly Bear

Bears found in Alaska (grizzly, brown, other types) are the biggest bears in the world. If there is any, grislie and human interaction will do their best. The reason the bear does not respond to humans as quickly as possible is because you can eat lots of food at habitat. There is no belief that humans are threats within the territory, so the usual reaction of a bear to a wild human being is gentle curiosity and then indifference. This general lack of reaction to his existence allowed Treadwell to think that the bear accepted it and ultimately assumed that they were mutual friends fatally.

Timothy Treadwell (born Timothy William Dexter, 29th April 1957 - 5th October 2003) is a founder of American bear lovers, environmentalists, documentary directors, and bear protection groups Grizzly People. He lived in Grizzlies in Katmai National Park, Alaska, and had a summer of 13. In late summer of the park's 13th day, in 2003, he and his girlfriend Amie Huguenard were killed by a 28 year old brown bear and almost completely eaten. Treadwell's life, work, and death are the subject of Werner Herzog's highly respected documentary "Grizzly Man" (2005).
