Why Levi Advertising is Successful Levi's started manufacturing jeans in the 1870s, but jeans were originally men's clothing. In the 1950s people aged 13 to 19 were called teenagers. Because jeans are seen as an indication of rebellion against parents and authority, they are popular clothing for teenagers. Wearing jeans and growing until becoming a parent means that the next generation of young people refuse to wear the elderly wearing jeans.

For promotion, Levi's has adopted a highly effective but comprehensive strategy. Levi's great success was achieved through the establishment of PR. Levi's uses two types of advertisements, competitive ad and institutional ad. We also use a lot of media advertisements such as television, fashion magazines and the Internet.

From the 1980's to the early 1990's, Levi's 501 jeans dominated the daily apparel market with high-quality manufacturing and intelligent marketing. There are various widely believed jeans, but Levi's is the brand that everyone else wants. A particularly nice marketing campaign in Europe especially strengthened the fashion status of the brand. However, in the late 1990s, Levi 's jeans suddenly became the victim of their success. They are regarded as "a jeans my dad wears" to a new generation teenager, and they are completely outdated.
